Project Overview
When CompliancePoint sought an SEO partner, they didn’t need to be everywhere; they needed to be intentional. Rather than stretching thin across the entire regulatory space, they partnered with Razor Rank to concentrate their authority where it counted most, with TCPA compliance leading the way. As AI search reshaped how buyers find and vet compliance partners, CompliancePoint secured a stronger, more visible position across the service areas that matter most to their business.
The Results
By focusing on CompliancePoint's most valuable service area – TCPA compliance – first, Razor Rank established strategies and a baseline that would guarantee success as the engagement moved into other compliance and regulatory areas. The results were amazing: A comprehensive content and on-page roadmap paired with technical improvements and a thoughtful linking strategy led CompliancePoint to enormous gains in traditional organic and AI visibility.
Collaborative Content Strategy
Razor Rank acted as an extension of CompliancePoint's in-house content team, delivering ready-to-write content briefs every month. Each topic was chosen based on what mattered most to our business goals, where competitors were already winning, and which valuable topics the site wasn't yet ranking for. Based on discussions with the in-house team, we created a content calendar that allowed us to attack high-priority keywords first, while making sure we didn't lose ground in the secondary and tertiary services offered.
Silo-Focused On-Page Optimization
Working through one service area at a time, we fine-tuned key page details — titles, descriptions, headings, URLs, and image labels — that help search engine indexation. Tackling a single service area before moving to the next kept the work methodical and made sure each area was fully built out along the way. Newly produced content, including keyword targeting and internal links pointing to pillar pages we had optimized the month prior, automatically helped us build visibility.
Structured Data Enhancements
Structured data, or schema, is specialized code that tells search engines and AI tools what each page is actually about. Razor Rank added enhanced Service structured data where it was needed to clearly separate pages meant to simply educate users about regulatory compliance from "money" pages meant to bring in new potential clients and revenue. The team also highlighted the credentials of CompliancePoint's in-house experts, including certifications from regulatory governing bodies, so search engines could recognize the genuine expertise behind the content.
Strategic Internal Linking & Digital PR
Our team reviewed CompliancePoint's backlink profile, flagging low-quality links and repairing valuable ones that had broken over time. From there, we earned new links from reputable sources and pointed them at freshly optimized pages and content, reinforcing the site's EEAT signals. After mapping how pages connected to one another, the SEO team found that educational articles and related service pages often weren't linked together. Adding those strategic links made it easier for both readers and search engines to move between pages and see how each topic fit into their customer journeys.
