Position Overview

We are currently looking to hire a Content SEO Analyst (CSEO) within the USA. Position requires a minimum of 2-3 years of experience. A person in this position will work with multiple clients across different phases of the client engagement with a focus on hierarchy creation as well as content ideation, creation, and optimization. The CSEO will work within the Account Team and provide ongoing content recommendations.

About the Position:

The CSEO will be responsible for the evaluation of a client website’s existing content. They will meet with the Account Manager/SEO Strategist and Technical SEO Specialist to present findings and assist with the development of a schedule of deliverables based on what they have found. Additional internal meetings may be required to communicate between the Account Team and will report directly to the Director of Content SEO.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to, aligning goals with the client; creating quarterly content creation and optimization strategies; creating internal requests for our content team as well as content briefs for the clients’ writers and, most importantly, communicating your strategies effectively to Account Managers.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role must have a proven track record of developing and executing successful SEO campaigns with a focus on content creation and optimization. They should also have an understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods and a working knowledge of keyword research tools such as Semrush or Ahrefs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to break down and explain content strategies to clients is a key part of this position, and a lot of that involves using regular use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ChaptGPT.

Finally, the person chosen for this position must be proactive, well-organized, creative, resourceful, and very detail-oriented. They will be responsible for multiple clients at the same time, so these characteristics are critical to their success.

Content SEO Specialist Must be able to:

  • Align goals with client
  • Develop content creation and content optimization strategies that improve a client’s organic search performance.
  • Work with an account manager to research keywords to use on client websites.
  • Perform content audits to find issues such as keyword gaps and cannibalization.
  • Develop initial site hierarchies and refine them with input from the account manager and client.
  • Create clear, actionable instructions for content creation and updates.
  • Communicate your needs effectively to account managers as well as to writers and editors.
  • Communicate the intent of your content strategies to clients, when necessary.
